| //27-08-2010 The slate of recent changes to the World Poker Tour® (WPT) continues to have a positive impact as 462 players bought in for Legends of Poker at The Bicycle Casino, a 66% percent increase over the previous year’s tournament.
This was the second consecutive WPT event that has seen significant growth, as July’s Bellagio Cup saw a field of 353, a 32% rise in attendance.
“We are excited to be back at The Bicycle Casino for Legends of Poker. As a charter member of WPT, visiting The Bike really is returning home,” said WPT President Adam Pliska. “The team here has worked tirelessly to deliver the top-notch tournament action WPT players have come to expect.”

A combination of construction workers, restaurant staff, electricians and casino staff were all working hard inside the new resort this week. Director of Marketing Edye (pronounced ee- dee) Tomasello gave a tour of the facility.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m.
